History of Music Videos Research

From conducting my research, it has inspired me in creating some ideas for my music video. I have looked into the locations and mise-en-scene of the most popular and influential music videos of all time and hope to reinforce this into my own music video. For example, Despacito, the video with the most amount of views, is set by the beach and looks as though there is a celebration or a party. The colours are bright and vibrant and the mood of the video is fun and excitable. I may choose to reflect this in my own music video by setting it in a city or town where there are bright colours and people around.
